Meshed Back into Reality

You arrived in my life like a net

not like any other material synthetic

you were my carrier

in every convenience you

were there

you are made strong

breathable, your durability prolonged

you caress the produce in your mesh

where the weight of my consciousness

would decrease

the tint of your net allure me

the shape of your worth

astounds me

you are leno

knitted,

extruded

tubular,

baxmatic

and monofilament

you are always within my sight

but not necessarily my first thought

you dwell in my home for a moment

but your footprint is infinite

your open pattern configuration

lifespan is led with frustration

you maintain the freshness

of my fruit

yet suffocate the sea, wind, root

you become a subliminal criteria

my fear is not that you are here

however my fear is

the reality

that you will

be meshed

in this earth

even when

we are gone.
